 I made a series of plastic, glass and rubber skin in the past which turned out great but I didn't have the time to do all that editing so I chose to opt for an over the top skin retouching and dodging and burning to highlight features and make it almost too perfect, and plastic.

I got inspired by the dramatic dodge and burn techniques of photographers such as Jill Greenberg. This model also works on many of my shoot as a make up Artist and hairstylist, I told her about this challenge and she was immediately interested, she owns a lot of pink and loved the barbie concept, and of course, she did her own hair and make up as well.

I was your 10. This was my idea of what a "best in the challenge" would be - something some photographer might do and/or some person might want done that was way too much BUT still kind of looked like the person. I love it and the glow and pink are perfect. Kudos to both you and your model and congrats on the ribbon.

You've met the challenge well. Sort of lovely, but yes, artificial. Reminds me of glamour shots my nieces had taken, personalities obliterated along with any 'flaws'. Top 3.
