| This is a great shot. I think had you submitted it for Pet Portrait, it would have done well. :) There are few things as tranquil as a sleeping cat. Just so you know, I asked Spunky, Satin, Trouble, Monroe, Strife, and Tiffany to make sure to meet Crackers on the other side of Rainbow Bridge. They'll make sure to keep him company until you get there. |

You're right. Someone did mention I should crop a little tighter, and I just didn't see it then, but I do now (damn little triangle, I didn't even catch that!) Thanks ... oh yeah, and this was actually my first challenge, so I wasn't disappointed with the results. I'm learning y'know?
(and I know cats are not original, but I'm wondering if one of my commenters is a cat-hater because I've noticed that person has commented the same thing on every cat photo - LOL!) |

| Ooh - he/she looks so comfortable - in only the way that cats can! Great light and texture too. The little dark triangle in the frgound is the only flaw really. And I think you've been voted down too low with this. |

| It might be a good idea to try to photograph something more original for the next DPC challenge. Keep trying! |

| I would like to see a greater value range and to pull in or crop a little tighter. I like the use of light and shadow as an added element to this photo, specifically the way the sun is making the ear translucent. |
