Thanks for the encouraging comments everyone. I feel as if I'm one of the underrated photogs on this site but it just pushes me to try harder!

Like so much of your work, this one just grabbed me immediately. I had it as an 8 and I am very surprised that it wasnt' much, much hiher. The tones here are wonderful.

Awesome range of "colors" in this photo. The contrast of the path, the flowers, bark on the tree and darkness of the ground-cover. If I were a Hobbit, this would be a path I'd want to start down.

I like the path and closest tree on the left, though the shot feels really busy. I think it is so much of the small undergrowth with highlights and shade. Maybe a softer light that would show less texture of all the small plant leaves would soften the shot enough that the path is a clear point of focus.

I have a feeling this is one of those that looks a lot better at a larger size. It's a moody scene and looks to have lots of detail with a good tonal range.

Texture seems a little too subtle

I am a sucker for forest pictures, and while I always said that nature pictures are better in color, this proves me wrong. I love it. It has great contrast. Best of luck.

Very busy, maybe a different angle or crop would have helped. 5

Looks like the first frost has arrived? Beautiful scenery, but did you sharpen it? If you did, it maybe would have been nicer before....
