 I visited my co-worker's house upstate NY this weekend. He is an amateur photographer himself, and we took many pictures during the weekend. I was constantly trying to get something that would look good in B/W. This shot is great in color, and is the best I could do for B/W...

Consider changing the horizon from halfway to one-third or two thirds.
