| I'll give you kudos for trying, but Im not feeling it. it needs more of a focal point or points, so it can engage the viewer. It is an interesting study in light and shadow though, especially with the art supplies. You went out on a limb here, good job, keep trying. |

| I like the simple, geometric layout and the side lighting. For some reason the paperclips being in the shadow of the staples really bothers me - it seems to break the "rules" of the rest of the layout. |

| to be honest I find this subject very boring. from a technical point of view there are a few things I'd like to mention (not that I'm anything more than a novice at this): slight halo-ing around edges (esp on staples) suggest too much sharpening (USM). the shadow are both too strong and not sharp enough |
