I think a closer perspective of the rusted metal would give this more interest.
The texture looks great. It also looks like the grass is what is in focus and not the wheel.

Yep, I invented that round thing. Never thought it would be of any use. Who knew? ;-)
I like this shot, but almost think BW would've been better, but then you wouldn't notice the rust. On the other hand - if you think about it, "Low Tech" implies something still in use. This is "Dead Tech" ;-)

good pic but the focus seems to be on the ground rather than on the wheel

this a great subject, but, the focus seems to be not the best. i think also the composition, in this rare case i would have said the rule of thirds, would also have enhanced what could have been a winner.

not to be a jerk, but i think you misspelled the title. That's a cool looking wheel that you chose as a subject! i think that for a photo like this one, it would look better if you cropped the right side so that the wheel is centered. or not, whatever. just my opinion.

Good composition. You might want to try a different angle & in black and white. 5.

Hmm, did you mean Mesopotamian? Focus is off here - i think the camera grabbed the ground not the wheel as what should be in focus. More DOF would have helped or perhaps manual focus. Perhaps rotate the picture to ass some interest.

The composition is too centered, I think it would have looked better as a duotone. You might want to approach this subject in an artistic manner, rather than taking a photo which documents the fact that theres a wheel on the grass :)

The picture is dull, uninteresting.
