This was the first thing that came to my mind when I saw the challenge. I didn't enter it. This is a very nice image, I like the diagonal of the grinding piece but wonder if it would have been more effective leading from upper left to lower right. The only reason I say this is that most commercial compositons take advantage of that because it's the way people view images - left to right. Not a big deal, just an observation. In any event, 8 |

Great example of low tech, in fact a throw back to teh stone age! Nice interesting textures and placement of the elements. Very distracting dodge remnants on the sides of the pestle creating a hazy glow from behind and below. A careful use of the history brush in adv editing would easily clean this up and leave a near perfect image. |
