| One of my two 10's . . . the other placed 2nd. I cannot believe this was not in the top 10. I love the light and the moment. Congratulations on the shot - if not on the finish which I kind of suspect is a disappointment. |

Voted earlier coming back to comment.
Lovely light on this early bird! I like how the light rims the head and the body - outlining the subject like that of studio hair lights. The bokeh backdrop allows the subject to visually pop off of the composition. Great details and fantastic capture of this bird in action gathering twigs in it's beak for building the nest. |
