| There are two things I really like about this picture. First the contrast of the rectangular rail and the circular wall. Second, the texture of the broken railing and the smoothness of the back walls. The point of view you chose and your cropping works to your advantage. Great depth of field, focus, and going to black and white add to the high quality of this work. I can't recall the score I gave you but I know it was high. Keep up the great work, John Gill |

| Cool and spooky. Odd how a house with so much whiteness to it can seem so "dark" in a moody way. The textures here are really interesting, and I love the hint of tree in the background. |

| Enchanting. The white on white works well. I wish the main house could have been kept upright (the engineer in me creeping out!). |

| Nice piece! Maybe a little short on the perspective side, but easily acceptable. The deteriouration of the rail is interesting. Contrast - I'd like just a little more, but this is workable. Lighting - fine, except for the glare on the lower window. 8 Swash |

| Great composition and black and white looks wonderful. Reminds me of bones or something. |

| Very nice shot. I really like the columns and the great DOF. The worn areas where the dark comes through and contrasts the white is awesome. |
