My daughter just read this and appreciates your comment, the idea for the photo and the expression was her idea. We had planned on doing some Harry Potter themed pics so this worked out perfectly.

The background and table top are intentional. Unfortunately I didn't have a nice table or background to use and I couldn't replace it under standard editing. I think I'm
going to reshoot this one and Gyaban the hell out of it. :)

I love your set up. I know other people comment on the overall darkness, but I think it works for this image. Nice job from your model too.

Wonderful setup and expression. The already mentioned overall darkness and too tidy hair might have knocked you down a few percentage points

It was, but we had no hairspray in it so it would start to fall after every couple of shots.
