The lighting is interesting, but I don't really get the subject.

This has an excellent tonal range, one of the best in the challenge as far as that goes. And the subject matter is pretty classical. All of the different textures are a pleasure to look at. I feel the composition is what really lets the excellent study down.

This photo is very dark, it is hard to make out.

Nice value range. The cropping/framing of this photo makes me uneasy. The wooden bench hitting at "eye level" of your stuffed subject, intrudes and seems awkward to me. Interesting combination of textures.

Good lighting, though the subject is lacking. Anytime you use inanimate objects that is going to be a problem. Sttrangely this works for me. But still it's somehow sinister. Let me tell you, I can't tell you how many bad dreams about stuffed animals and puppets I've had in my life. I used to wake up in a cold sweat because I'd been dreaming about my teddy bears and sesame street things dancing around the room, poking me with needles and other memorabilia. And don't get me started on Muppets Take Manhattan. Sure, it was a great movie, but their movements at times were downright freaky. If you didn't see it, sorry, but I don't reccommend it for children under 7.

I've had a duck like this for YEARS and only recently lost it. Brought a tear to my eye - great pic, anyway!

this is cute and it has interesting lighting but all the other stuff seems to drag you away from the subject, i would have liked this better if you moved the table, slippers and the other thing and get his hair all in the shot
