This was taken straight on at him. Those are his front legs. He would fit on your pinky nail. |

I don't think I've ever photographed one from above. I always go for the side view, for some reason. Maybe 'cuz the curve in the tail makes the bug look very oddly formed from this perspective. But that's OK; it's an Assassin Bug, and they're weird-looking from any angle. Nice macro :-) |
