From the sea turtle release -- Virginia Aquarium. I thought about entering the group shot, and maybe I should have.

This is Drake. He was a cold stun found, rescued and rehabilitated. He was released back into the ocean on August 31.



I'll have to double check, but I believe he was in rehabilitation for 243 days. From the NOAA Fisheries site: The term “cold stunning” refers to the hypothermic reaction that occurs when sea turtles are exposed to prolonged cold water temperatures. Initial symptoms include a decreased heart rate, decreased circulation, and lethargy, followed by shock, pneumonia and possibly death.
