 used a soft focus lens to get more of a dreamy, underwater feel

used hue adjustment to make the backdrop more aquamarine and used split toning to give the light areas an aqua color cast to further the sense of what one might see when scuba diving (backdrop was blue to start with, so adjustments were not extreme); contrast slightly lowered as well to again approximate how things might look from underwater

to suggest movement at differing speeds, background jellyfish was placed just beyond focus and a little fan pointed toward the foreground jellyfish from the right side

used cut strips of compostable produce bags for the "tendrils"

I originally intended to use pattypan squash for my jellyfish, but couldn't find any and instead went with ornamental gourds - which, despite their name, are edible. :)
