Challenge: Time Passing (Advanced Editing II)
Camera: Panasonic DMC-FZ20
Location: San Diego
Date: Nov 17, 2004
Aperture: 8
ISO: 80
Shutter: 8 Sec
Date Uploaded: Nov 20, 2004

I thought a traffic light would be a good way to illustrate the passing of time. I hit the mother lode on this picture by getting almost all the lights. The picture is decent (it was slightly foggy out) but I think it hits the mark on the topic.

Missing amber? Seems odd to have chosen this set of lights, as that unusual feature, for me, detracts fro the strong sense of a deserted street - the idea of time continuing to pass at night is very strong. The light trails from the car(s) are almost unnoticeable, as they meet the line of the pavement so closely. I wonder if there's enough impact to catch the eye of the rapid voter?
