 The problem with taking a shot right at sunrise is there are no people around to add interesting elements to the image. I generally think people add interest. This is the same pedestrian bridge as my Serpentine entry:

To Mariuca, I seriously considered one with no buildings. At the time, I thought buildings added something, but you have me questioning that.

I also considered a more abstract image:
