Sometimes square cropped images look forced or awkward. This isn't the case with this photograph which fits nicely into a square. A beautiful way to get this side challenge going. |

Delicate and casually refined. I really like how you've filled the frame. I also like the perspective, as if peeping from behind a log, or even a stalking predator's viewpoint. |

There's a mass in the tree that's either in the act of coalescing or about to drop. It may be apocalyptic. Or perhaps not. This could go either way, but the deer keep grazing along. |

Looks like you were spotted. I agree this is much better in B&W (even though I've not seen the colour version). |

The row of deer stand out well against the dark background - a good move to convert to b&w. |

It looks like ink. Or an etching. Yes, an etching! It's a good example of what monochrome can see/show, that colour can't. Thank you. |
