Pretty - like a pastel painting.

I like the muted palette but am distracted by the flagpole (it needs a flag on it or to be gone I think).

I wadn't sure initially if I liked the muted tones or not. I do.

Lovely delicate pastels for a light, airy feeling.

Yes, we have crows -- lots of them. I think they all live in a tree across the street from me. I think they were sleeping in this morning. I don't know where the pigeons were either.

I'm not trying to tell anything. This was taken early in the morning. We were getting the tail end (just clouds) of a hurricane off of the Pacific coast of Mexico. I lived in the tropics for many years and the light reminded me of mornings on the Venezuelan coast. The light can be "milky" with muted colors and almost no shadows. In this picture I may have gone overboard with Snapseed, but I am happy with the result. I shoot whatever takes my fancy; sometimes it's at night, sometimes not.

Thanks for your comment.

I like this approach to color. a muted, limited palette helps us appreciate the light

striking juxtaposition between the verticality of the tallest palm and the spire - wonder how conversion to b&w might change things

Charming and bright, done with a light touch and eyes to the skies optimism. Nice airy composition.

when I saw this as a thumb I felt a little bit like Paul.
But after viewing at full sight I'm intrigued by the colours.

It's rare that I am unmoved by a photograph of yours, but this one feels a bit skinny to me. Like one of my late Mother's watercolours. I always told her that her pictures would profit from the addition of a crow or raven. However, I love your Location: "Northern Southern California". Are there crows available in them parts?
Thank You.
