may be a daft comment but I this butterfly seems very tall to me, which goes well a square composition. I also like the colors, so bright they're starting to smear

Lovely frame of greens about the butterfly and the orange flower. Nice shallow focus. There's something winning about the combination of the butterfly and the flower, like a sunrise, or a display of heart.

In the thumb I thought it was an exotic turkey. Can I keep thinking that? I prefer birds to bugs. But even if I have to acknowledge the butterfly, I still like it. Thank you.

The orientation and perspective makes this little lady look as if she's dancing on her toes - or at least walking on them - with her arms outstretched and wearing some kind of wide-sleeved kimono type gown.

From the thumb I thought the butterfly was some king of flower so this was a nice surprise :) I love the background.

I'd like to bring out a little detail in the lower black portion of the butterfly. Nice work.

For the snapshot it's the art of being there.
