| what can I say? you know how to rock the square. this is not at all the sort of picture I like, but I like it anyway. I think it's because I can rub it and summon a genie. |

| I think I get the dark symbolism here, and it's powerful. The image is powerful even stripped of symbolism. The looming monolith of a building is strongly set off by the inky sky. The verticals and less prominent horizontals make a pattern of faceless bureaucracy backing the flailing flags and reflecting a harsh sun. Fine use of the square format, and fine composition. |

| Great composition -- the upward angle of the building, the straight lines of the windows, the undulation of the flags, and the flash of the sun's reflection. Nice b&w processing. Good work. |
