| the high contrast processing is the best thing you could have done for the shot. it adds visual interest and brings out as much as possible from the sliver of room. the square is good because it fights against the rectangle of the door. |

| Gritty, grainy realism. There's a hyper-reality of detail, vouched for by numbers, that's absolutely transfixing. The light and contrast are wonderful. You're asking a lot from the right 40% of the image, and you get it. |

| Dirty hands work here, doing dirty work. The scale with the hook...the shiny floor (wet? with what?)...this is not a place where I would feel safe. |

That scale with the hook is ominous. Suggests a dissection room. Some big plastic drums in there for offal and unidentifiable bits. Ledger on the door recording walk-in organ cash sales. What the Hell have I been smoking?!

| great peek into the world beyond that door, just enough - I suppose some people might criticize you for not opening the door further to reveal the scene beyond, but I think this works perfectly as is |
