Well-composed and graphically very stylish. A lot of subtle motion here - the pinwheeling wind vanes, the sinuous road, the gently sloping hill and the grazing cows before and at the horizon. The dark green vegetation, with a stone wall, perhaps, establishes a strong foreground the secures the journey into the image. The motion shadows of the vanes add a distinctive whimsy. The huge blue sky is beautiful. Why is that farthest wind vane blue? Camouflage? It all comes together so well. It would be a great poster.

so many interesting lines in this - great to have that extreme winding road/path separate the bottom third of the square, with the shadow leading us into it. This is really rather painting-like.

I have a love/hate relationship with these things. Ours aren't usually located in such a beautiful location. The one in the lower left is throwing a rather menacing shadow. Perhaps it's about to attack the cows!

I'm not sure who would want to paint a scene like this but thats what it looks like to me - a painting. The more I look a this the more I'm liking it, simple yet effective.
