This would make a fine record album cover, old-fashioned and newfangled. I especially like the view out the window, which certifies this peek into the 1930's or thereabout, at least as I see it. The tone, graininess and vignette also contribute. The central light area, though serving to highlight the guitarist's head and instrument, seems like a missed opportunity. |

the background, divided in thirds, as it were, really works well here - you would think it would be too "busy", but it works imo, maybe because of the way it presents as angular sections |
