Of the 4 photos of American-flags-up-a-pole, this one seems to be the weakest. The flag isn't in focus, and the moon is in a distracting place. I think you can see how you could strengthen this photo by looking at the other 3!

Nice perspective shot! Color seems very good. Framing is very nice. The inclusion of the moon is a nice touch. Focus - seems pretty good, but....the flag is fuzzy. You might have done this on purpose to show movement (flag waving) or you might have needed a faster shutter speed (w/o descriptions, this is always a hard one to judge/guess). 8 Swash

Nice, I love the placement of the pole and flag! Excellent!! I'd almost like to see the moon out of the pic but that's OK.

Nice work. I like the boldness of the flag against the blue sky. Hope you don't get criticized for having a patriotic shot!

At least you weren't shooting with them. Your pole has an eagle on top. Is the white spot at the end of the flag the moon. It is really distracting in the shot. Otherwise it is a really nice shot. The star area appears a little out of focus.

one time i read a comment about a flag photo somebody else had written. commenter said it was a cheap shot, too easy, so ubiquitous a symbol that it loses its meaning.
i think he was wrong. i like your perspective.
some folks are real sensitive about seeing unorthodox star-spangled banners. they\'re entitled to their beliefs, which i think you should ignore. in my humble opinion, jimi hendrix was the best thing that ever happened to the national anthem. i dig your flag.
this country\'s flag has artistic license built-in.
