You might enjoy the work of Richard Diebenkorn. Some of his abstracts use a similar geometric strategy. Nice balance and the colors work in harmony.

Love the geometry -- squares within squares with a few dots thrown in for good measure. Nice colors and textures too.

This one is gorgeous. You could have created it from bits and pieces and I would have loved it. That you had the eye to find, preserve and present it absolutely delights me.

I have an abstract artist friend who, among other things, creates diptychs and triptychs from photographs of bits and pieces she finds as she wanders her city. You might be interested in her work: Diptychs and Triptychs by Marlene Burns
