 This is a golf course I have played many times over the years and have learned not to use my best golf balls. Several difficult holes that I continue to challenge the risk versus reward.
This shot was taken using over 500 golf balls that I borrowed from the course. I had cut three holes in a piece of plywood to allow for my hands and head. I set up the camera on a tripod on our deck with the camera pointing down over the railing. I set the plywood with the golf balls off the ground below with lawn chairs. There was enough room for me to get underneath and position myself to take the picture with a 10 second delay on a remote trigger. Luckily, the neighbors did not see me.
