 Not sure if this really meets the challenge, but I did wait in the snow for 3 hours to catch a particularly exciting fireworks show in Huddersfield to mark the start of the Contemporary Music Festival. There was also an opera, and I didn't envy the orchestral players who also had to play in the snow. Believe me, I really felt time passing when I took this photo waiting for all of this to happen. The fireworks actually happened after 9:00.

This is one of those images that makes one wonder how it was done. A very rainy effect. Leads the imagination in several directions. Nice.

The snow doesnt realy look like snow.. you should try to capture it with a flash or something like that. I like the position of the clock however, so you get 6
