it's crazy, you somehow made that window look like a portal to 100 years past, and lovely darknesses |

Very nice balance and tonal contrast here. What I like especially in terms of design elements - they always attract me - is the repetition of rectangles. The mood is somehow prayerful, as if we are kneeling in a church and life goes on outside. |

Love the surprise of the lass in the window. She was there all along, but we didn't see it. |

Beautiful conversion to b&w. The wooden structures in the foreground, the window panes, and the architecture across the street all work so well together. The person walking their dog is a nice place for the eye to settle. |

You make it sound so simple. I’ll need more than a few hours to practice this! Thank you :-) |

it was so basic. I just selected the window in Photoshop, copied it and expanded it. (actually, mostly I shrunk the original, but same idea). Since the background is so black it was easy to just slap the bigger copy in. |

Got to say that this is rather good, a story too sad to be told.

Although I like the warm golden tones of the original this modification brings a whole new mood. The little window pastiches were barely to be noticed before but now add to the mysterious story, especially the figure, with head obscured by the pane frames. |
