| Photo is good and I "get it",,,but it lacks detail on the rings of the tree stump.. |

| Nice photo. One thing that would have helped here is if the tree rings were clearly visible. This can usually only be achieved with sanding. |

| I think, for this challenge, I'd have wanted to emphasise the rings of the tree somewhat - they're hardly visible here. Compositionally effective. |

| Very crisp and clean with beautiful detail. Meets the challenge and works as a great abstract/macro also. |
