Living in the desert, does not make for good foggy mornings. But if you are lucky, and it rains at night and it is really bloody cold (like 28'), then the sun rises, then the water treatment plants water river, gives off steam/mist/fog. What is even better is that the actual desert becomes misty. So that weird misty/foggy stuff all over this picture, is actually, real. No cold lens, no added anything. It really does come up in weird odd places, depending on how high or low or what bushes, trees are about. I can walk about and be completely surrounded in mist, then step 5 paces left and be in no mist. Add water to it, it becomes unreal. Add reclaimed churning treated pumped out water, you get weird stuff. And add a concrete path, it ends up being twilight zone!

i'd love to go there for a morning walk .. the stream and the mist rising .. its very beautiful .. great photograph ... :) |
