Hi all! *waves*
While I haven't been contributing much lately, I have still lurked from time to time. I took this photo tonight, then I saw the open challenge, and figured "what the heck, why not". I'm sure there will be some amazing still lives with pears that win. That is always the way it goes. But I had fun making this image, and it's like coming back and seeing family by entering it again.
Editing steps, so I don't forget after drinking all of the whiskey:
1. Import into Lightroom
2. Tweak things like exposure, clarity, sharpness, Denoise, and dehire
3. Add a vignette, cause that looks nice
4. Do some local edits on the cigar and glass to make them stand out more with more clarity, sharpness, exposure bump, and some more dehaze
5. Export, resize, sharpen edges, save as <700 KB jpeg
