I hope this fits the challenge. I'm afraid this submission is just a case of "let me get something in this challenge." I haven't entered anything in the last couple of challenges and I miss the update button.

I took this photo today (the due date). Had no ideas for this one.

I'm new to photoshop, and pretty much all things photography, and I was playing around with duotones with this one. I don't know if it came out any good or not. I don't expect a good score.

This is a case where the photo doesn't really seem to fit the challenge (at least to my way of thinking) and the title tries to drag it in. Alternatively it is a subject which speaks volumes to you in the context you exist in, but without your context, the photo doesn't convey to me the same meaning or emotional payload.

Too pink. Too much of a snapshot. and worst yet- no gratuitous thong-clad arses.

In my opinion it doesn't fit the chalenge all that well. Yes the beach erodes over time but this photo to me at least does not illustrates the passing of time only because you show more of the beach then the people. Had the people been more in the foreground and that being the main subject then it would have fit the challenge better, or at least in my opinion.

I don't really see your title, as I am used to beaches like this that aren't in danger of erosion, but perhaps your area is not this shallow... i'll give you that. :) I like the sepia, but I would prefer more dark tones and contrast. I also think the buildings are a little to tight to the edge (top left) and could use more sky above them. I like the detail in the water.
