 These were extra flowers given to me after the funeral of my husband's cousin. Cancer came back last year and quickly took her with a vengeance at the beginning of the year. She was only 58.

I've already been to one too many funerals/visitations in the last two months. Going to another one in a few days. There's just too much sadness in the air right now.

now i've read your comment ..
i'm so sorry to hear about the sadness in your life right now .. i feel your pain .. its the human condition ..
hopefully there is happiness too .. in the human condition .. to balance out the sad times ..
its the times of light that we have in our lives .. that help us weather the times of darkness .. and come out the other end .. hopefully with gratitude .. as in every dark time there is a ray of light .. :)

I hope things get better. Death and sadness seem to go hand-in-hand this time of year. The rose signifies life.. beautiful detail.
