insteps is better at composition than I am, but I like this one, with the head more centered. For me it accentuates the feeling of a head floating in space... a sheep brain floating in a vat, controlling the Internet, or something... |

A different perspective of a sheep. B&W works well for this. |

Oh, I love this! Sheep can be so photogenic and the lensbaby puts a different twist on it. |

Wow! Not bad for a beginner!! ;-)
Have fun with the new Lensbaby. As a handspinner, I've got a thing for sheep. I love this one! |

My favorite so far, Roz! This is amazing! Rock that lensbaby - they're fun little things, yes? |

I love this. My first impression was the sheep is asking you to pay attention to her. She is giving you that look. I love that you used black and white for this. It is very impactful. |

Roz, my favorite of your January side challenge posts. I know your theme is overlays but I think you're onto something with LensBaby. This sheep has something to say but we don't share a common language. It's in her eyes...
I might crop a little off the right side so she isn't dead center. |

Good for you.. this is a great start. I can see amazing images coming from you as you become more accustomed to using your new "baby".. ;-) |

I am not a big admirer of the lens baby per se, but this image is spellbinding. I am not even sure that you had to add an overlay, but the whole thing works and is impressive. |

Great result. The wire fence perfectly highlights the fabulous head. |

that (lens)baby of yours got you the confusing focus that you were looking for, alright!
Nice deep blacks, and I like how she (sheep or goat?) is trying to interact. |

The world is a confusing place, this expression says it all. Your lensbay is serving you well, love the feel you got here, nice tones. Not sure what the overlay does, seems to be subtle but yet again I haven't seen the one without it. |
