It's already a while that I wanted to go out and just shoot strangers but so far never had the courage to do so. That Saturday the sun was shining and I was feeling excited to go out and shoot something and hopefully some people as well.

I took the bus to the nearby bigger city of Ghent and started shooting buildings, street art and then I saw this older man. Without hesitation I walked up to him and asked if I could take his picture. "Okay, but with my bike" he said. And thus this picture happened. We ended up talking for a while and it gave me lots of energy to go up to other people and ask their portrait as well.
