 done for the resolution side challenge for january

my theme is composites, overlays or textures ..

this morning i went looking for insects .. i havent shot any in quite some time ..
so .. i found this little grasshopper .. unfortunately he's not that attractive as far as grasshoppers go .. ;) .. no offense little grasshopper .. :) ..
it would have been great if i'd found a green one .. they are much prettier ..
anyway .. i thought i'd have a play .. adding some other photos i took yesterday morning ..

Wow. I love the colors and the patterns in this Roz! You have made a grasshopper look like a rockstar in a laser show.

In new world the grasshopper survives, maybe it's become the main source of sustainable protein. Love the look.

Some insects could be so pretty as brooches. I'd have this one, just as you showed it on a green dress.
I wish you had someone taking pics of you looking for insects!

Just love the detail in this little guy! The background composite works perfectly. You are so good with insect macros.. can almost touch the grasshopper he's so real!
