 My mom used to live in Germany long ago... she bought these at what I'd call a "yard sale" and gave them to me years later because she knew I'd love them. They aren't supposed to be vases, but anything that holds water can be a vase, right? That's all I've ever used them for.

Aren't the subtly beautiful?!

I struggled with a glass vase cropped in a weird way for a long time... then tried to edit it and edit it. I didn't love it so, I started over in my thought process. I came up with this and had to only do very little to it.

I love it when that happens! But, I hate it that after all of this time, I can't just start with the final idea. Ha!

I love the vases, and the idea of just one little stem. I just wish the lighting was a little bit different. It's so close, yet it just seems a bit flat. Especially on the flowers. They look a bit yellowish instead of white like you're mixing artificial and natural light?
