| By now, one's face is but a palimpsest of that long journey. I'll speculate he's a sensitive man. He seems to be both looking outward and inward. This portrait is so successful because it appears to show all, but also acknowledges the hidden wellspring. |

There is a lesson in composition in the entries for this challenge.
This might look like a candidate for a tighter crop but actually, the negative space adds to the shot. This is my pick for a ribbon. Excellent capture. |
