Taken on the pier of the Hoboken, NJ waterfront. Hoboken is quite different from when I grew up in N.Y. It is now a vibrant young community. Everyone, it seems, owns a dog!
I walked along the waterfront from the late afternoon until evening. It’s amazing how the NY skyline changed in appearance as the sun set. I was alone on the pier when this gentleman walked to the edge. I backed down the pier and took several pictures of him as he looked across the Hudson. I was not thinking of the Waldo challenge at the time, but when I saw this capture on my computer screen I knew I had to enter it.

This is just beautiful! Printworthy! It reminds me of a happy memory I had when I visited one of my DPC friends in NY a few years ago. One night we went to Wehawken and watched a scene like this take shape and color right before our eyes. What a beautiful, interesting place! You did it AND the Waldo challenge justice!

Beautiful blue image. Very neat that one lamp is out while the other one spills over a modestly discordant Waldo. So there is a reason to visit New Jersey. Come on, it's a joke.
