Oh yeah - "Electric" Guitars have been obsolete since the appearance of the new plasma driven, stringless guitars with embedded nanotechnology. :-) Nice pic, but hardly low tech. Sorry. |

A great photo, but nowhere on the low tech range. The comparison of this guitar, to another would mean comparing to an acoustic. Framing is good, bit of noise in the red shadows, blur of hand is just right and not distracting. DOF seems very good for the presentation. High marks on composition, big hit for challenge details. |

Nice guitar capture; the movement capture is a good idea, but seems more "blurry" than movement blur. Looks like too little DOF (I do understand it was dark there). As to the challenge theme, an electric guitar is "electronic" and not very low tech! |

Funky colors and lighting. Great composition. Not quite what I would consider low tech, but this is a good photograph. |

While the acoustic guitar is low tech, the electric guitar comes under hi tech. However, the principle of the guitar will be interpreted in its broadest sense. Your effect needed a few more takes ro enhance and identifu the hand more. As they stand it gives the feeling of a claw. However, your lighting and composition are nice. 6 |

"non-electronic"? Oops. 1.
[edit]
OK. There's a hot debate running in the forums about what exactly is "electronic".
I have decided to subtract only one point for items I believe to be electronic, rahter than the hard-line "1" I originally issued for such items. This is far more fair and reasonable. 7. |

I find this shot appealing but off topic. Good luck. |

Nice photo - I like the action of the hand - but (and I'm sure you'll get plenty of these comments), does not really fit the "low tech" theme in my opinion. |

Ummm, very electronic. An acoustic guitar might have been a better choice. This sucker wasn't invented until after electronics 'cause you need them to make an amp, and without an amp this is not much of a musical instrument. |

Dude that's an electric guitar, it says clearly it can't be elctronic, and no way are guitars low tech. I'm sorry, nice capture but it really doesn't meet the challenge. |
