 So very hard to get a decent bird in flight picture with the eye sharp and the wings blurred. The light was very bright, but the background was dark. Getting the right exposure was critical in minimal editing. I feel this capture came out a bit dark on the body but good on the wings. I made several hundred exposures of different birds with different lighting conditions dependent upon the time of day and weather conditions. I tried different camera settings, shutter speed, ISO settings camera angles etc. this was the best of the bunch. I hope it does OK.

looks a bit like a top scorer to me .. its a wonderful in flight capture of a bird.. with beautiful blur .. :)
