 poor father going to pick up his kid at our school.
I went out during break time when it was pouring, just to take pictures of people in the rain.

I composed the shot that all lines lead to the person. I used this picture as an example while teaching about the rule of thirds in my workshop I have at school.
The students are able to draw lines and pinpoint the subject. I didn't want to make a picture with only empty space and the subject.

i absolutely loved this in voting ...
such a dramatic and impactful image .. the rule of thirds couldnt have been better expressed ..
love that this seems to be also a candid .. blow me away ..
reading your comment .. the lines leading to the subject .. so perfect ..
most definitely should have come in the top 3 .. this is a work of art .. another disappointment for me .. i just dont get it .. the voting .. :(
