On my journey home I travel through a small village in England that has three old petrol pumps( gas pumps for the Americans amongst you...) sitting unobtrusively at the side of the road. The garage has long gone but the pumps are there, getting increasingly rust and forlorn. I've been waiting for a challenge that I could use them in. It just so happened I'd read an article on abstract photography the night before which made me look at them slightly differently - hence this view rather than the full one:
