Had some dead bugs lying around the house and my mum suggested I take a shot of them for this challenge. My other idea was to make her hold seven spoons. She accomplished getting out of the later and making me pick up all the insects lying around the house... I got a nice photo

I would have expected to see the ladybirds with more red in them.

Could they have all been in focus if you merged to shots? I like macros, I like lady bugs, they all seems dead and unlucky.

Seven lucky ladies. I like the overall composition and I like the way you framed it. The shadows are a bit harsh but the exposure on the bugs are on the money. Bumping up.

I like close up photos of bugs. I really enjoy the details. This image seems to have a very shallow depth of field. Was this intentional?

Aren't those bugs supposed to be bright red? That would have made this picture, which has a nice composition and DOF much better. The bugs are just simply too pale.

hahahahahahahahahahahahaha! What, only seven of the pesky little critters!!! More like 7,785,985,647,299 of them! Clever idea!

Okay, how did you do that...how did you get seven lady bugs to sit still

the background is a bit too plain, I would prefer a more natural setting

nice comp. too bad about the basic challenge, it would have been nice to clone out the dirt speck/sensor dust in the lower left corner

I think the dof is to shallow, I would love it if the ladybugs were bright red, it would contrast really well w/ the b/g

I would have tried to get them all in focus.
