What they said. Seen many photos of the Golden Gate Bridge. Beauty and majesty are well represented, whereas this take is besotted with mystery and mood, the dim of night. If they lived in SF, this is the bridge that Sam Spade and Philip Marlowe would cross. Wonderful spiky cables and gleaming patch of the bay. And the grain, a wash of minor tones. Memorable.

| Best in show, IMO. Lots of dark to explore, no highlights visible. Great subject. This is the approach to low key I admire. |
