 My daughter sewing in the studio.

My thought on low key is that it’s all grays, mostly dark, without visibly bright highlights. Chiaroscuro like. I went with the more mysterious look and favored the shapes and folds.

This isn't underexposed at all. It was taken in a studio. I just had her out of the direct light.

nice portrait good retaining detail in the shadows, it is a little flat to me a little more light on the hair

I'm curious to have a low key discussion after this challenge is over. This doesn't strike me as low key -- more as underexposed. Also, it could be a very interesting, evocative pose, but the lighting is just distracting. The lighting draws the eye to the shoulder and the ear, which hold no interest. Sorry...
