CRITIQUE CLUB
LIGHTING: Great use of the natural lighting - obviously, it would be great if the sky were bluer that day, but it's not really something you can do on your own! LOL!
CHALLENGE: At first, I didn't see a lot of rhythm, but the more I look at it, the more I see it and the more I like it. Anyone who didn't look closely may have scored this lower than it deserved.
SUBJECT: Again, interesting and very fun to "stare into". It does have a cluttered feel, but then alot of things do, and are still just as interesting to look at. The lamp post is a bit distracting to me, as is the fence.
OVERALL: A great photo that just needs a little cropping and maybe a color change on the sky showing through. Really though, this is a very FUN photo to stare into! Great job. |

| I wanted to do this but couldn't get over the fence to get one the power station! You were lucky and got one close to the fence! Nice rhythm! I would have dropped the fence out though, it is kind of disturbing, you should have gone a little higher! The lamp fits in perfectly though. |

| Unfortunately, this shot ends up just looking like chaos. The numerous lines in this picture don't form any strong patterns or structures (even though I'm sure they do in real life). Perhaps the subject is just too cluttered to come up with a good clear shot from, or perhaps another angle would have yeilded better results. I also think the barbed wire and lightpost don't add to the shot, but instead add to the clutter. Good luck. 3 |

| You are right!! There is rhythm here!!The only distraction I can see is the lamp and post on the right side of the pix.Croping this out would have made a better pix and still shown the rhythm hidden in the chaos. |

| if the sky were blue in the background, i would give you an 11. so instead, i guess i had to give you just a 10. this is so what i wish i could have done for this competition. chaos but ordered . . . very well done. |
