one of the few electric devices in this challenge that is so NOT electronic. But the cloth in that plug seems like it is a fire hazard. Nice detail in this. Great choice of a textured wall for background as it adds to the whole as does the angled jointing. Good lighting too. Nice high marks.

"non-electronic"?? It's old, it's a low-tech electric iron. Nice shot though.

OK. There's a hot debate running in the forums about what exactly is "electronic".

I have decided to subtract only one point for items I believe to be electronic, rahter than the hard-line "1" I originally issued for such items. This is far more fair and reasonable.

Great colors! the background and floor colors look *awesome* with the colors of the iron. i like how the line where the floor meets the wall cuts across at an angle. i do think that this would look better without the cord/plug all wrapped around the handle like that. ideally, no cord at all would be great.

Great range of tones and detail. Crop maybe the slightest bit too tight, but I don't care. I just love it.

Good comp, there is a bit of a hot spot on the front of the iron and that usally hurts the photo
