This was a tricky one. I built a wood platform above a glass flower bowl. I drilled 4 holes in the platform and placed a syringe with food coloring in each. I placed a thin board across the tops of the syringe plungers. After much practice and change of water I was able to get multiple drops from each syringe at about the same time by using a hammer and tapping the board multiple times. I allowed the first drops to hit the water before I pressed the trigger on the camera at the same time I was tapping with the hammer.
