 I've been watching these Eagles through their nest building in preparation for laying eggs. Now the birds must be vigilant to watch for predators to protect the eggs. They spend a fair amount of time in their "home" with the exception of hunting for food.

Majestic! Great shot. Of all the creatures on the planet, the bald eagle arguably has the most serious expression. I mean look at this guy... :)
